ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT COURSES
ACLS builds on the foundation of lifesaving basic life support (BLS) skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course & Basic Life Support (BLS) combo course is designed for personnel who are seeking to obtain their American Heart Association's ACLS & BLS providers card. Students opting for the renewal/update course must bring with them to the class, their current ACLS & BLS card. Students must also have a BLS Provider Manual, complete the BLS written exam, and BLS Skills testing.
