U.S. Coast Guard Maritime First Aid CPR AED Inst.-Led Course $115 (Book Incl.)
The US Coast Guard (USCG) has approved the AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course as meeting the USCG Elementary First Aid* training requirements of:
Elementary First Aid per STCW Code Table A-VI/1-3;
Elementary First Aid per 46 CFR 11.302(a)(3) and 46 CFR 12.602(a)(3);
The first aid and CPR training requirements of 46 CFR 11.201(i)(
Critical Actions Safety Center shall provide students with an American Heart Association course completion card and a certificate of Completion of the Heartsaver First Aid with CPR and AED AMERHA-216 certificate to any maritime personnel that require the certificate to accompany their Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course completion card upon successful completion of the course with all options completed and written exam.
Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED --
combines basic first aid with CPR AED training. This course provides first responders with training in basic first aid and CPR AED procedures -- including the first aid skills recommended by OSHA --Heartsaver courses are intended for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. This course DOES NOT satisfy the requirements for Healthcare providers such as Nurses, Nursing students, CNA, dentist, doctors, EMT etc. that are seeking a course completion card for licensing or job requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
